The game is set after a second American Civil War where the north has regained control of the country’s nuclear arsenal. The north has used the nuclear bombs to create a “death loop” that has destroyed most of the country.
Deathloop is a PC game that is inspired by Philip K. Dick’s “Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep ?”. It’s an action-adventure, platformer, and puzzle game where you play as a teenager who finds himself in a strange new world, and tries to escape. You’ll have to battle deadly monsters, solve puzzles, buy items at shops, complete quests, and level up to advance to the next area.
Deathloop’s system requirements have officially been published by publisher Bethesda Softworks and developer Arkane Softworks, giving us a clear look at the PC specifications we’ll need to run the game when it releases next week.
As major releases continue to utilize more of the newest available technology, Deathloop’s system requirements serve as a warning that older hardware is progressively becoming unsuitable to run major versions at the maximum settings.
